A Landmark Tournament for Grassroots Badminton

The Badminton Open Tournament 2026, organised by K.B Sports Foundation, brought together over 400 athletes from across Uttar Pradesh to compete at a professional indoor court in Lucknow. The event was designed to give emerging players — from Under-11 juniors to Senior competitors — a structured, high-quality competitive platform.

Held across multiple days, the tournament featured Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles categories across six age groups. All matches were overseen by certified referees ensuring fairness and discipline throughout. Winners in every category were awarded trophies, medals, and certificates of participation.

The event saw tremendous community support with families, coaches, and local sports enthusiasts in attendance, creating an electric atmosphere that celebrated the spirit of sport and grassroots excellence.
